Prescription commentary
"Hangeshashinto" is a herbal medicine widely used for gastrointestinal disorders such as diarrhea, soft stools, mouth ulcers, and heartburn.
Hangeshashinto warms the intestines and improves diarrhea and soft stools, while at the same time reducing inflammation in the esophagus, which is connected to the stomach, and in the mouth over a wide area, thereby improving heartburn and mouth ulcers.
The prescription name "shuranshin" is defined as "to relieve a feeling of stagnation in the pit of the stomach," and also means "to relieve mental agitation," and is also used for stress-related gastrointestinal symptoms.
Usage/Capacity
Take the following dosages with water or warm water before a meal.

Medicinal effect
Following symptoms in persons with moderate physical strengthwho have difficulty in swallowing at the solar plexus and a tendency to soft stools or diarrhea and sometimes experience nausea, vomiting, stomach growling and loss of appetite: Acute or chronic gastroenteritis, diarrhea/soft stools, dyspepsia, gastroptosis, neurological gastritis, stomach weakness, hangover, belching, heartburn, and stomatitis, neurosis.
