Prescription commentary
"Toukakujokito"is a typical Kampo blood-killing (Kuoketsu) drug (medicine that takes blood [Oketsu]). It is used for people who are hardy and prone to constipation, who have strong hot flashes and have cold legs.
It is effective for menstrual irregularities, menstrual pain, mental anxiety during menstruation and after childbirth, constipation, lumbago, etc.
Usage/capacity
Take with water or hot water before or between meals 3 times a day.

(Extracted from 2.5 g of Tonin, 2.0 g of cinnamon bark, 1.5 g of rhubarb, 0.75 g of licorice, and 0.5 g of anhydrous Bosho.)
As additives, it contains hydroxypropylcellulose, lactose, and polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene glycol.
