Prescription commentary
“Kakkonto” is a prescription found in Chinese classic medical publications “Shokanron” and “Kinkiyoryaku.” It is effective for colds and stiff shoulders.
It is effective for the first signs of a cold, such as shivering and persistent “chills” associated with a fever.
Usage/Capacity
Take the following dosages 3 times a day with water or warm water between meals.
- Adult (15 years old and over)
- 3 tablets
- Under 14 years old 7 years old and over
- 2 tablets
- Less than 7 years
- Do not use

Kakkonto extract (1/2 dose) - 2,600 mg
(Extracted from 4.0 g of Pueraria Root, 2.0 g of Ephedra Herb, 2.0 g of Jujube, 1.5 g of
Cinnamon Bark, 1.5 g of Peony Root, 1.0 g of Glycyrrhiza, and 0.5 g of Ginger)
As inactive ingredients, this medicine contains Hydroxypropyl Cellulose,Talc,Silicon
Dioxide,Croscarmellose Sodium,Crospovidone,Magnesium Stearate,Polyvinyl
alcohol-Acrylic acid-Methyl methacrylate copolymer,Titanium Oxide and Carnauba Wax.

The following medical conditions experienced by people whose physical strength is moderate or better: First signs of a cold (without sweat), sinus colds, sinus infection, headache, stiff shoulders, muscle soreness, and pain in the hands and shoulders.
