“Keishikashakuyakuto” is a prescription found in Chinese classic medical publications “Shokanron.”
This medicine is effective for the treatment of symptoms of defecation difficulty despite having frequent desire to defecate due to pain caused by abdominal bloating.
Usage/Capacity
Take the following dosages 3 times a day with water or warm water before or between meals.
- Adult (15 years old and over)
- 1 packet
- Under 14 years old 7 years old and over
- 2/3 packet
- Under 6 years old 4 years old and over
- 1/2 packet
- Under 4 years old 2 years old and over
- 1/3 packet
- Less than 2 years
- 1/4 packet

The daily dose of 3 packets (1.0 g/packet) contains 1,600 mg of Keishikashakuyakuto extract powder M from the following mixed crude drugs;
Cinnamon Bark 2.0 g, Jujube 2.0 g, Peony root 3.0 g, Glycyrrhiza 1.0 g, Ginger 0.5 g.
As inactive ingredients, this medicine contains Hydroxypropylcellulose, Lactose, and Polyoxyethylene Polyoxypropylene Glycol.
medicinal effect
Following symptoms in persons with moderate or poor physical strength who suffer from abdominal distension: shiburihara [tensmus]*, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and constipation. *shiburihara [tensmus] refers to the feeling of unsatisfied defecation and repetitive defecation desire with abdominal pain.
