Prescription commentary
This herbal medicine is used for a cold or allergic rhinitis that causes a runny nose and a lot of tongue along with coughing.
It is suitable for people whose symptoms are relieved when they take a bath and warm their body.
In Chinese medicine, there is a concept of "water" that moistens the body.
When the circulation of "water" is stagnant, excess "water" accumulates in the respiratory tract and overflows when exposed to cold.
Shoseiryutou improves these symptoms by balancing "water" while warming the body.
It does not contain ingredients that cause drowsiness.
Usage/Capacity
Take the following dosages with water or warm water before a meal
- 15 years and over
- 1 packet
- 7 years old and over and under 15 years old
- 2/3 packet
- 4 years old and over and under 7 years old
- 1/2 packet
- 2 years old and over and under 4 years old
- 1/3 packet
- Less than 2 years
- Do not use

Medicinal effect
Following symptoms in persons with moderate or slightly poor physical strength who suffer from coughing with thin watery phlegm and runny nose: Bronchitis, bronchial asthma, rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, edema, common cold, and hay fever.
