お屠蘇(おとそ)

Sake Sango is a live medicine that is soaked in sakuru sake. It is used for ancient times as a celebratory alcohol that is unique to herbs. It began about 1,100 years ago, as a ritual of the Emperor Shiatsu and was raised by common people in the Edo period, and still remains one of the events throughout the year.
